I graduated from college on the 11th of January 2010 and just passed my state teacher's certification exam, YAY! Now I start certification training that will go through spring and summer. Hopefully I'll have that classroom this fall. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
A huge thanks to everyone who has faved my shots or is watching me. I promise I will have some new stuff up soon. Just got back from a camping trip in the swamps of Florida, so I can't wait to sift through the 500+ shots and see what ya'll think....

If I haven't thanked you personally for the :+fav: and :+devwatch:, I really do appreciate you checking out my shots and watching for new stuff. Especially when they are very few and far between. I don't have alot of time right now --- things are pretty crazy. so it's hard to be a full participant on this site. I promise I will take the time to thank you all, until then thank you thank you THANK YOU :worship:

I know, I've been off a long time. School is taking up more time than I thought. Especially since I thought I was done after my big test. No, I had certification training (which is done) and NOW I'm studying for ANOTHER test. UGH!
I did take a day and went with my son ~royalcoaster (https://www.deviantart.com/royalcoaster) and his best friend :iconmoony-toon: to the Grapevine Botanical Gardens. Got a few shots, the place is basically one garden and in the sweltering Texas heat, not much is alive right now....
I hope to get out more sometime soon. My brain is overloaded and has begun puking information that I actually need and don't want to lose, so a break is def in the works.

Okay, so the latest with me? I PASSED MY EXAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the most incredible thing for me!! I have been accepted into the certification training and will have both Spring and Summer sessions to attend so I am on my way!! Yes, every sentence in this journal will end in !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I definantly have some suggestions for photos that would make good prints.
Also mind you, this is what I have seen from your front page,
B.E. Susan, Lace Wings, Come out...I see you, Seabound. I'm sure you have better ones, but I would rather do it at a good hour, rather than at 1 AM

Thanks for the suggestions, and I'm glad you like my shots! Actually, I totally understand the late hour thing. Wish I could get away from it myself (up at 4 this AM

When were you at Richland? I subbed there for awhile about 3 years ago. My son is a Senior now. Pretty excited, he's SO into the photography thing. Took a bunch of his shots with him to pictures yesterday and the pros there seemed pretty impressed

Here's hoping it might turn into a job after graduation..... 08-09 Was my Sophomore year, haha I am gonna be a Senior this year too(I was in a show while I was there, Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind) plus I saw Dracul and The Miracle Worker. I moved in March of 09. So that also ties in with how I ended up on your page .
Yeah he is a pretty good photographer, I like a lot of his shots! It would be pretty impressive if he did. Although not wholly surprising. The kids at Richland are some of the most talented I have ever worked with,and I expect most of them to go on and do great things in the future(perhaps even a few get famous, I would put money on Julia)

You moved, so are you still at Richland or did you move away? I'm trying to think of who you are b/c I should know you if you were in a show, theatre mom and all.... Yeah, I was done subbing by Christmas of 07 so I probably didn't have you in a class. sorry
